Hey, My military service details have been announced. I'll fly to "VAN" and will be a gendarme of Turkish Armed Forces. "Gendarme" is functioning in Turkey and France. Gendarme means: "National police organization constituting a branch of the armed forces with responsibility for general law enforcement."
Van is about 2000 km's away from Istanbul (my hometown) [How ironic... My last movie title: "Passion; 2000 KM's] I'll be away for 5.5 months.
I'll miss dA... You all take care.

hey all,
my military service starts @ 12th aug 2006 (actually, my military service period has begun this morning). i don't know the duration and the place of the service right now. i'll update the journal as soon as i got the news.

I NEED TRANSLATORS

Hey all,
After doin all the post work, now we're in dvd mastering phase. Since i'll send the movie to many festivals around the world I need subtitles in many languages. English dialogue list is ready fo translation to any language (many thanks to Mr. Volkan Ersoy for the English translation) I need translations for those languages:

- German
- French
- Spanish
- Russian
- Japanese
- Dutch


English translation text is about 850 words in total, if you are able to translate please contact me. I'll send a physical copy of the dvd to translators after completing the work.

Portuguese and Italian translations are in progress, but I'll notify if there happens any problems and will want your help. Thank you all.

Hey all,

It's been a while since I last blogged. As you may have guess I was very busy with some projects.

So here are the news:

I'll direct two music videos. Me and my team, still in pre-production. Location scouting is almost done and I'm finalizing my shooting decisions. We're having meetings and brainstorming. Right now I just can not pronounce the names of bands, sorry But here's a clue: One of them will be on stage @ roxy music hall at 16th March. Come and listen to them, I'll be there also.

"tutku; 2000 km" is completely done. Just refining

By the way.. I didn't blog –I didn't want to- since the new year but I want to thank everyone supported me when I was in hospital in the first weeks of the new year. It was hard at first but  it became easy by your great support. Thank you all! I'm fine right now... yay!

I'm almost done with the editing. Rough cut is ready for online finish. Some lil bit of details, color corrections, special fx and etc will be done in a short time and will be ready for screening.
